First — It is the moment that you spend waiting in the courtroom for. Nice and simple but storytelling.
Second — Shows the emotion of the event and it was thoughtfully composed in a high pressure situation.
Third — Nice composition and captured a nice moment in the body language of he subject. Judges felt this photo should have been entered into the feature category.

First — Nice peak reaction from a volleyball game.
Second — Another nice sports reaction photo but felt it was in need of a tighter crop from the left.
