First place was obvious; we all went straight to that photo as an obvious winner. Nice framing of subject. Simple.

Category lacked peak action and first and second place stood out because it caught good moments. Third place we tried to ignore problems with color key and assume the photo is sharp.

Fairly weak category, not one complete story-telling picture story. Could be lack of space, but it made it hard to pick the winner. This was also hard because the three strongest of the group were all on people dealing with illness.
